A gentle hygiene appointment at Langdon Smiles Dental

Dental care tailored to you

Our Services

A completely redefined approach to oral health — state-of-the-art technology paired with a gentle, wellness-first philosophy, so your care is precise, comfortable and lasting.

Everything under one roof

Seven kinds of care, one team

Most of what protects a smile is unglamorous and early: a cavity caught while it is still enamel-deep, gum inflammation reversed before it costs you bone, a crack found before it splits a tooth. That is what a checkup here is for.

When something bigger is needed, you do not have to go elsewhere for it. Cosmetic work, crowns and bridges, digital dentures from our own lab, periodontal therapy, root canals, wisdom teeth, children’s dentistry and sedation up to full general anesthesia are all handled here, by people who already know your mouth.

Why patients choose us

Digital intraoral scanning in progress

How we work

Four things you can expect from every appointment

Diagnose before we treat

3D imaging, intraoral scanning and photographs, shown to you on screen. You should be able to look at the reason for a recommendation, not take it on trust.

The conservative option first

Enamel you keep is enamel you have for life. Where a smaller treatment will genuinely do the job, that is the one we offer you.

One roof, fewer visits

Our own digital denture lab is in the building, so adjustments happen the same day rather than in the post.

Comfort is planned, not hoped for

Nitrous oxide, oral sedation and full general anesthesia, so anxiety is never the reason a problem goes untreated.

Fees & insurance

No surprises at the desk

We direct-bill most Alberta insurers, so in the majority of cases you pay only the portion your plan does not cover and we handle the paperwork. Where a plan will not permit direct billing, we give you everything you need to claim it back yourself.

About feesWe follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide and direct-bill your insurer wherever your plan allows it. Because every mouth is different, we give you a written treatment estimate before any work begins — never a surprise at the desk.

Common questions

Before you book

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. New patients of every age are welcome — call us or send a note through the contact page and we will find you a time.

Do you direct-bill insurance?

We direct-bill most Alberta insurers wherever your plan permits it, so you pay only the portion your plan does not cover. Bring your policy details to your first visit and we will do the rest.

What will my treatment cost?

We follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide, and you get a written estimate before any treatment begins. We do not start work you have not seen a number for.

I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I be judged?

No. A great many of our patients arrive after a long gap, very often because of a bad experience elsewhere. We start where you are and go at the pace you can manage.

Do you see children?

We do, from the first tooth onward. Dr. Crowfoot in particular is known across Alberta for his gentle approach with children and for sleep dentistry options where they are needed.

What if I have a dental emergency?

Call us as early in the day as you can. We keep time free for urgent problems, and getting you out of pain is the first priority at that appointment.
