Children's Dentistry

How a child's first few dental visits go tends to set their attitude to dentistry for life. We take that seriously: short, friendly, unhurried appointments, no frightening vocabulary, and no procedure sprung on a child without explaining it first.

Little smiles

Gentle first visits, sealants and fluoride — and no scary language.

Dr. Crowfoot's gentle approach with children is one of the reasons families travel to see him. Where a child is very anxious or has extensive needs, sedation and general anesthesia options mean treatment can be completed safely and calmly in one go.

Parents are welcome in the room throughout. We will show your child the instruments, let them hold the mirror, and count teeth before we do anything else.

Your Child's First Visit
About feesWe follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide and direct-bill your insurer wherever your plan allows it. Because every mouth is different, we give you a written treatment estimate before any work begins — never a surprise at the desk.

Not sure which of these you need? Book a visit and we will tell you — children's dentistry starts with a look, not a treatment plan.
